Terms of Use for Ceysec

Welcome to Ceysec ("we," "us," or "our"), an application designed to assist you in finding job opportunities, creating CVs, and generating cover letters based on the information you provide (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using Ceysec, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of Ceysec. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the updated version will be effective upon posting, with notice provided via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Ceysec. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use Ceysec, you must create an account using a third-party authentication service (e.g., Google or LinkedIn). You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during signup.
Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@ceysec.cc.

4. Use of the Service

Ceysec allows you to upload CVs, input job preferences, and receive tailored job suggestions, CVs, and cover letters. You agree to:

Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Provide accurate and truthful information for job searches and document generation.
Not use the Service to submit false, misleading, or harmful content.
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at our discretion, with or without notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the information you upload or provide to Ceysec (e.g., CVs, job preferences) ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store it solely to provide the Service, including:

Parsing CVs to extract job-relevant data.
Using anonymized job preferences to query job providers.
Generating CVs and cover letters.

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., copyrights, privacy).

6. Intellectual Property

The Ceysec app, including its design, code, and generated templates (excluding your User Content), is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the Service or its components without permission.
Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

Ceysec integrates with third-party services, such as:

Authentication Providers: Google and LinkedIn for signup, subject to their terms.
Job Providers: External platforms providing job listings, subject to their terms.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties.

8. Privacy

Your use of Ceysec is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your information. We do not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, except as outlined therein.

9. Subscription, Cancellation, and Refunds

Subscription: When you purchase a subscription to Ceysec, you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will not renew. No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of your subscription period.

Refunds: Ceysec is provided "as is," and we generally do not offer refunds. However, refunds may be considered under the following limited circumstances:

Technical issues that completely prevent access to or use of the Service for a significant period, which we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
Erroneous duplicate charges or billing errors.
When required by applicable law.

All refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date to support@ceysec.cc with relevant details. Refund approvals are at our sole discretion.

Account Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to Ceysec at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you:

Violate these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
Misuse the Service in any way.

Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

Ceysec is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:

Accuracy or completeness of job listings, CVs, or cover letters.
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

We do not guarantee job placement or the suitability of generated documents for your purposes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Ceysec, including but not limited to:

Loss of data, opportunities, or profits.
Errors in job recommendations or generated documents.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if applicable).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of California.
